Love of my Choice
A portrait project exploring love, developed through the Unclear Family international photography workshops of the early 1990s as part of a longer term project.
The German photographer established temporary studios at Fishburn Community Centre in Co Durham and at Side Gallery in Newcastle. He invited participants to be photographed with the object of their closest love. Other full exhibitions developed at or initiated at the 1993 Unclear Family workshop based in Crook, Co Durham, include Jindrich Streit’s The Village is a Global World and Veronique Lesperat-Hecquet’s Sunniside.
